83 Hurst Olds For Sale Auction Mecum Sun Sept 19 St. Charles, IL Lot U89
'83 Hurst/Olds #429 of 3001 built. Built on 12-20-1982. Purchased from original owner August 8, 2003 in Tifton, GA who purchased from Prince Chevrolet-Oldsmobile, Inc. PO Box 128, HWY. 82 W. in Tifton, GA 31792 on January 31, 1983. I have copy of GA title, dealers invoice window sticker, retail installment sale contract, build sheet, Oldsmobile pre-delivery inspection check sheet, Oldsmobile owners manual, Hurst/Olds option manual, buyer protection manual, radio manual, and tire manuals. Also loan documentation copy stating date of birth of original owner 12-4-1936. A very well documented vehicle.
Car has paraded the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on two occasions - 2004 and 2009 which I have photos passing the layer of brick at the finish line. Also photos with Jack "Doc" Watson - one of the designers and innovators of the Hurst/Olds project along with Linda Vaughn "Miss Hurst" - both had autographed the trunk and photos to support.
A very solid southern car which has all its original paint, rare sand drift (gray) interior, and W40 Hurst package which includes the infamous Hurst Lightning Rod shifter, and only 79,719 miles. This is the 15th Anniversary Edition of the Hurst/Olds collection. A true beauty, an eye catcher, and definitely a collectible. Selling for $15,400.

I still have other G-body cars and a family now. I do not have time for these cars any more and would like to pass them on to another enthusiast to enjoy and preserve the Oldsmobile history.
