Paying by Paypal gift option in return for goods is a violation of Paypal terms of service, and will result in NO Paypal protection in a dispute.

I am a "perfectionist nut" which needs to stop. I only sell quality product. I hold true my word. I track my packages. I would not expect a dispute and hope to trust fellow mankind. Trust is something that seems to be diminishing nowadays.

I would find it hard to trust someone who wants to base a transaction on dishonesty, and violate a companies terms of service to save a few bucks in Paypal fees.

This is a suggestion to save the purchaser money. The decision is based solely on the purchaser.

Iflylow 02-16-2011 04:02 PM

First, the seller pays the Paypal fees, not the purchaser.
Second, at the very least you are aiding and abetting unethical behavior, and therefore are just as guilty as anyone who chooses to do this.

So it's okay to rip off Paypal, as long as you pass the savings on to the end customer?

Honesty is honesty, no matter how much money is involved. A good reputation is worth a lot more than some Paypal fees.

Sorry I was more into how subject was handled than the subject and admit defeat .
