Default Paintjob - Oldsmobile 76 BigSix 1949 fourdoor Sedan

Hi,

I'm currently on the lookout for infos on the paint used by Oldsmobile in 1949 for the restauration of my recently acquired oldsmobile.
What I'm wondering most is wether they still used nitrolaquer or thermoplastic paint and where to obtain it.

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Kindest regards,

Chris.

Edit: I found a link with the colorchart for 49/50:

http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/chipdisp...e&info=&page=4

The original paint is seafoam green and on the chart it says "automotive lacquer" and "quickset enamel" as well as "poly"
