Hard to say without looking at it and without know your experience with vehicles. I have some stuff posted on my website that you may like to read and it may help you decide what you will want to do with your vehicle.
If you goto www.geocities.com/jjferrero
click on "Joe's Hobby"
and there are Restoration Shop Considerationsor if you should Restore It Yourself. I also have pictures of some of my vehicles (both oldsmobiles and non olds) and the pictures have links to details on each of the cars.
I guess the key to any restoration is your attention to detail.
I am posting the full photo restoration process of my 1915 Oldsmobiles as they happen. Alot of what happens here is what you may possibly go through.

A little about me... I'm 33 now, just had my first baby on 7/24/07 and restored my first show winning car at the age of 16. (My 1948 Oldsmobile Dynamic 66). I am down to 26 cars right now, and slowly getting rid of non restored - non oldsmobile vehicles.
If you have questions, email me and I will try to help any way I can. ritthesis@yahoo.com
