Just a note!
I have a 99" that I just changed the battery in, not a big deal in most cases. It is the original battery from 1999! Which means it is older than that. Four bolts and two terminals and one battery mount. Looked a lot harder then it was.

my 1999 battery finally died. (i think) It doesnt make any noises but the lights come on when I turn the key.

I jumped it with another car and was able to drive around for about 30 mins or so but when I got home,I turned it off and tried to turn it back on but no noises likes its trying to turn over.

I assume I just need a new battery. Is there a step by step guide on how to change that out? I have done it before on other cars but the battery seems to be buried under the fuse box.

raiderfanmikep,

It really is very simple, I think it was a 10 mm socket on the strut bar accross the battery(2 bolts each end) and then disconnect the neg, then pos terminals, the mount and it is out.

Really is easy, not like it looks. Most of the places like Autozone will change it for you if you buy the battery there. I don''t ever plan on having to change mine again.
