2000 Silhouette Message Center not working
 

Hi all, my message center on my 2000 Silhouette Premiere is not working at all. I have never seen a light come on in it (didn't realize battery symbol should flash on start-up when I bought it). Everything else works fine on the dash, Milage, gas gauge, speedometer, check engine light, etc., only the Message center does not work. Is it a fuse? A short? Unplugged by dealer? How do I get at it if I need to? Any suggestions are welcome.

Most likely the entire unit is bad. Common problem on these vans. Get one from local salvage yard or search for one on e-bay. There was one guy on e-bay who repairs these. He would send you a reconditioned one when you send in your old unit.

Edit; Is this the one in the dash or mounted on the ceiling? I was thinking of 98-99 and 2000 I believe is in the dash. If so disregard my message.
