coolant leak
 

hey guys i have a 2001 silhouette and i recently seen noticed that the coolant is leaking from under the van, i looked under and i can not find this leak. when i turn the heat on it is going cold, and i noticed the temp gauge go up, i refilled the overflow and it took almost the whole bottle of antifreeze. but still leaking like a gutted fish when i start car and give alittle gas. any ideas anyone?

Have someone else gas it while you look.

i did but we can not find the leak anywhere, i did ask someone though and they think it is the intake manifold gasket. what are the chances of that being the problem, and where can i get a diagram of how to do it the best way?

Sounds like an intake manifold to me. I would check all you coolant hoses too, the heater core hose are know to leak. Being that its a van everything is a pain in the ass to work on and hard to even see where anything is.
