I ahve a 1999 Olds Sillhouette and i am hacing trouble with the switch pannel abouve the middle cousel The Driver Information Center (DIC ) I think its called. The whole DIC does not turn on no Compas, no trip meter no anythingthe thing will not work at all. I looked at the fuses and there good Iam stumped. I am NOt by any means a mechanic but I am mechanically enclined. So some help would be great . Thanks for reading this.

 

Mine went out about 2 years ago. There is nothing you can do as far as fuses etc. The problem is in the electronics. It's a common failure. There is a guy on e-bay that fixes them. You send him your's and he sends you out a rebuilt one. I just ignored the absence of it as I consider other problems that come up more important.
