Passenger door window
 

My 1992 soliuette passenger side door window went down but will not come back up. I'm sure it has something to do with the switch but I would like to get it up so Ican drive it. Is there a way to get that window up without the switch. I priced a switch at the dealer and it a tad bit pricey.

Never buy parts at the dealer if yo can help it, try gmpartsdirect.com, or google the part number. Also, you can probably find the switch in a local salvage yard really cheap.
If you have the inner panel off the door, you can probably move the window up by hand, and prop it in place with a piece of wood or something.

I'll try the local salvage yards tomorrow. Not much room to get inside that door. Need mice hands with strength of gorilla. Will the window move up while the motor and framework is still attached. Need this van as I use it to transport the upland dogs around.

Window problem
 

I purchased a new switch for the passenger side window thinking that was the problem. Well it still will not come up. It will try and go down, another words you can hear the motor on the lowering cycle but nothing on the raising cycle, any suggestions.
