Just today my Toro heater wont work right, no matter which button I push it blows on defrost. It does have the VIC. Anybody else have this issue, or any suggestions? I dont know if these run on vacuum or are all electronic.

I know I'm in the toro forum but also own 1978 98 with 95000 org. mi.everything match all papers from the first reg. to the present so I love these olds. Just came from Texas in the 91 Toro old 3800 ran like that 403 in the 98, oh I did mention that the 98 have 403 CID w400 Tran, and speaking of tranmission when I was down in Texas the toro started blowing the no.6 fuse when I put the car in gear, being that it is hot down there I through that the weather was the cause, but upon returning to northern IL. the problem continue can anyone help.

I'LL tell you about my trip to Panama City in the 98

I'm starting to wonder if the A/C needs charged to make it blow out of the vents. I know that sounds dumb, but about the same time the heater started acting weird, the low refrigerant light came on.
