I'm looking for a 72 442 convertible. shape is not a real concern as long as the price reflects it. Just in case anyone knows where one is.
Thanks

You know that in 1972, 442 was an option on the Cutlass and not a seperate model. The only way you can make sure you have a REAL 72 442 is if the car has a build sheet or it is a W-30, in which case there will be an X in the VIN.

There are a LOT more 72 442s out there than ever were built by Oldsmobile! It is probably the most imitated/cloned/scammer car to sell to novices.

If you were already aware of this, then disregard.

Yes I was aware of this.

I just have a lot of real good parts including a shell that I would like to use to restore a real 442 Preferably an X car. I would just love to restore a true 442 convertible. If not I'll do the best with what I have.
