I'm restoring a 69 W30 and was getting a new exhaust made. The gentleman making it said he was looking up the details and the mufflers on the driver vs passenger side were different sizes. Is that correct, if so do you know what they are.

Also looking for a recommendation on some meater sounding mufflers.

That just makes no sense. The stock pipe was 2" OD. Year one sells a complete system from the maifolds back. Personally if you're not going for a concourse resto I'd throw on a flowmaster system. They fit well and sound great. Opt for the 3 chamber though if you don't like resonance in the car. They can be a bit "drony" with the 2 chambers.

I have had both types on my 70 and prefer the 3 chamber, but have the 2 on there now.
