4th to 5th gear grind

4th to 5th gear grind
2002 Alero GL 5 speed manual. I have been having this problem for about a week now. Every time I shift from 4th to 5th, the gears grind. It wasn’t doing this until recently and it has me concerned. Should I take it in or just leave it as is?
