Default Bright lights

My daughters lights looked pretty dim so I put in silverstars in the low beam... WOW what a difference. Problem is in the bright lights. Used Halo Automotive Platinum White 9005. They are bright, but the light is spread all over, so it looks dim. Is this normal with the Alero (2002)?

You may need to clean up the lenses. They fade over time and start to become opaque.

We sell this stuff at work and it works VERY well. All you need is a drill and to follow the directions. Good stuff.

It is also likely that the new bulbs do not extend the same distance into the reflector assembly as the old ones, making the light out of focus.

If that were the case then he would have the wrong bulbs in there and that's not all that likely. They engineer those so you can't put the wrong bulb in the wrong housing....not without A LOT of effort and modification anyway. Either the plugs will be different or the way the bulb attaches in the housing will be.

The Alero headlight housing don't have the best light output with any kind of bulb. Most of the light output is about 15-20 feet in front of the car. My lens are crystal clear with silver star ultras and the light output isn't all that great. Kinda sucks $50 bulbs don't make that much differance from the standard halogn.
