Drivers side window
Hello everyone. Recently, my drivers side window does not work. All the other's go up and down, no problem.
I will tear apart the door panel, what is the most common problem or area i should look for and test? Thanks |
Check if you have power and ground at the motor, if you do, it's a bad motor. you can usually get it to work (temporarily anyway), by hitting the motor with a screwdriver handle while you press the button.

The door switches are known to go bad also.

Definitely maybe. It depends on what voltage is required for the light to come on. A meter would be better.

Im located in Canada! Thanks |
My drivers side window motor no longer works. I wanted to swap out the rear left side motor for now till i purchase another one. I noticed the part numbers are different from the left side front to the left side rear?
Are they not the same motor? |
