Default Drivers side window

Hello everyone. Recently, my drivers side window does not work. All the other's go up and down, no problem.

I will tear apart the door panel, what is the most common problem or area i should look for and test?

Thanks

Check if you have power and ground at the motor, if you do, it's a bad motor. you can usually get it to work (temporarily anyway), by hitting the motor with a screwdriver handle while you press the button.

The door switches are known to go bad also.

Would a light tester work fine?

Definitely maybe. It depends on what voltage is required for the light to come on. A meter would be better.

Finally pulled out the motor today, Tried to run the motor on the pass side, no luck! I took the pass side motor and connected it do my drivers side, and the switches and motor worked fine. So the motor is bad. Where is my best option to pick up a drivers side motor?

Im located in Canada!
Thanks

My drivers side window motor no longer works. I wanted to swap out the rear left side motor for now till i purchase another one. I noticed the part numbers are different from the left side front to the left side rear?

Are they not the same motor?
