On cold mornings my 2000 alero puts off awful raw gas smell. It comes into the car and it also smells from outside the car. I could smell it from my front porch with my car sitting in the drive way.
My dad has looked at the car and cant find any visible leaks.
Does anybody have any incite as to what may be causing this?
It seems to only do it on cold days.

 

I would first check for leaks with the key in the "run" position and the engine off. That way the fuel system will be pressurized and leaks more easily visible. Especially look at the fuel pressure regulator, as they are known to go bad and can leak.
