I have a 01 Alero that had a dead battery about 2 months ago, which was
replaced.

Today when I started my car and put it into Drive, the radio cut out for a
second and the needles in the gauges all went back and forth a few
times. It stopped after about 10 seconds and I proceeded to drive to
work.

I noticed a soft hum during my drive (almost sounded like a remote
control car) and also, the power window button made a hum when I
pressed it down to open the window.

The anti lock and brake lights in the dashboard came on and stayed on
through the drive (the e-brake was not in use).

Any clues as to what this could be?

Thanks.

Might be a short somewhere or a relay on its way out. You can disconect the battery for about half an hour to reset the computer to see if that helps.
