in order to change the lock cylinder you must have the key and be able to turn it. if you have that put the key in on position and there is a button on the bottom of the switch. push it and the lock cylinder will come out.

Did you change it because of the Passlock security system? Mine is starting to show a security light when I start the car. How much did your new cylinder cost, and where did you find out how to do it?
