hey guys i have a 99 alero GLS and so far i have been doing some work on apperence, however the only thing i have done under the hood is a cold air intake, which did increase my throttle response and horse power....but i would like some more,...what can be done (at not a high dollar amount) to get more out of my 3.4 engine?

Not too much you can do to the 3.4 that will give you big gains for cheap. There just isn''t too much of an aftermarket for it. There are things like ported heads, headers, ported and polished upper and lower intake manifold. The cheapest thing you could probably do is get a tuned PCM.
