Default how to get more power

I have 2.2 ecotec, 2003 Alero 5 spd 2 door. Just want to know a couple things??

1.) How can I start my car without pushing the clutch in??
2.) And i'm putting in a DVD player in it and how can I play DVDs without engaging the ebrake??
3.) Is there any good legitiment chips for my car??

Thanks, Randal

1. Why would you want to do this?
2. It depends on how the DVD player is wired. How does it tell the ebrake is engaged?
3. I have not heard of any, but other members may know.

1.) Why? And no. Well you could but you would need a tuner, go into the PCM and change some stuff around. But its there for a reason so you shouldn't mess with it. You will end up wrecking your car when you go to start it and its in gear.
2.) Search the internet. There are alot of audio forums out there that can tell you how.
3.) No. There are no legit chips for any year Alero. All that crap people try and sell on ebay is a waste of money.
4.) If you want more power you need to search around. Its not gonna be cheap but there is stuff out there. There is a guy in Las Vegas with 2.2 thats running 500+ hp. Just takes time and money.

1.) Remove the clutch switch.
2.) Rewire your DVD player, ebrake should have nothing to do with the operation of the head unit.
3.) First thing to do to add horse power is to make your engine breathe better. >> Intake, header, full exhaust. I would go with a 2.5".
