I am looking at a 2003 Alero GL 2.2L. What should I look for and what are the problems associated with this car?

Just off the top of my head: Window regulators fail regularly; hazard light switch fails resulting in no turn signals; water leaks around the blower motor, around the lower door seals, around the upper door seals; blower motor resistor fails resulting in only "high" fan speeds working, ABS/Traction control wiring breaks orconnectors leak and corrode causing ABS/TRAC lights; wheel speed sensors fail causing the same lights; ignition switch wears out causing intermittent "no start" problems; Passlock fails causing the same problem...


I''m sure there are other common problems also. Look around on the forum and see what people are saying. Most of these problems are well know, and reasonably easy to diagnose. Parts are not hugely expensive, and readily available both new and from junkyards.
