Hi All, I am hoping that someone can help me. I am in a northwest suburb of Chicago. While driving yesterday, my car stopped in the middle of the intersection! I had it towed and after the dealer inspected it, he came to the conclusion that the timing belt/chain broke and the pistons/valves also broke... Are you, or someone you know/work with, knowledgeable in this area? Please let me know if you can help!!

i have talked to several mechanics who confirm that if you dont change timing belt when you should the engine will be destroyed when the belt fails. chunk that engine and get one , but first get a second opinion.....
