Noise comming from the Belt

I have a 01 with the V6 also. That noise you hear is more than likely the water pump. Mine has made that noise since I bought it new in 2000.

That is also a possiblity.

If the noise is like continuous, I dont know but if its like when you are just rolling not hitting the gas and the noise goes away when you hit the gas, all of your pulleys will need to be adjusted(tightened)
