1999 Aurora low RPM vibrations
Hi all,
I bought a 1999 Aurora six weeks ago with 130,000 miles on it. There have been some vibration issues at fairly low revs (1100-1300), in every gear, which feel like a shuddering coming up from under the seat and sometimes through the pedals. We ran the fuel tank almost to empty, and a friend said that debris from the bottom of the tank could be causing the vibration, but I think it's something else. Our tires are all new.
Additionally, the speedometer starts to wobble with a 5-20mph variance when we exceed 70 mph, and the fuel gauge (both analog and on the electronic readout) becomes untrustworthy (to say the least!) once we're down to a quarter tank or less.
I'm about to take it in for repairs, but wanted to get some thoughts from those more experienced than myself before I do. Hope you can help a newbie!
Thanks,
Graham D
