my dash lights and guages suddenly go to off and on. these are temperature , speedometer,tachchometer ,fuel guage and the little window that allows you to read the mpg avg. the lights that tell the problem you have is ( oil level guage-fault ) then the lights go out. 1995 aurora. just as suddenly they reappear.

 

Sounds like there might be a short in the cluster or just a wire that has come loose.

 

i will gladly look for any loose wires. if you can be more specific please advise. lights come on a may work for 1/2 a day with no problem. thanks ...wd.

 

I would pull the cluster out and check the plug. Its unlikely that the wire came out of the plug but it could be loose inside the plug or the plug is loose where it plugs into the cluster.
