I was driving my car yesterday and it was running fine but when I was just minutes away from my home it wouldn't go above about 20 miles a hour. It was backfiring and the check engine light came on and showed that some oxygen sensors were bad. I replaced my sparkplugs and wires first because I noticed that they were mostly all wore out. It seemed to fix the problem at first but then the problem came right back. We replaced the sensors and it didn't do anything. The checkengine light wen't off and we began to realize that the engine seemed to be not letting out enough of its airor something. Iwas wondering if anyone knew what was wrong. Thanks for the info... New Poster

FIND A FRIEND OR AUTOZONE WITH AN OBD TESTER . IT SHOULD LEAD YOU IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION. ALSO CHECK FUEL FILTER..HAS IT EVER BEEN CHANGED. IF NOT START THERE IT PROBABLY NEEDS IT ANYWAY.
