I am pretty sure i have a thermostat stuck open on my 2001 aurora. When car sits idle, the car heats up nice and the engine temp runs where it used to, but when driving, the engine temp drops clear down to below the quarter line and the heat ain't to hot! Assuming it's the thermostat being stuck and allowing all the cold air outside to keep the antifreeze cool therefore, making the engine run colder! I NEED HELP, where is the thermostat located on the 01's? I got a new one and the gasket and the seal, just don't knwo where it's located, someone help?!
