Does anyone know if a 99 aurora would have a belt or a chain, and has anyone had to change one out on their aurora? WOnding what the cost involved in that would be. Edited by: wavenoob

 

the 4.o has a timing chain and two gears...the 3.5 i don't know...i've looked up a timing set at my work and as far as that goes it's not more than 50 bucks (i don't know the exact price of the top of my head)...it shouldn't be that bad but i'm not positive how long it is cause i've only had my aurora for a few months and i am not fully aquainted with the motor yet...especially since it's been 20 bellow 0 here the fast few days so i think i'll wait for sping to get aquainted
