97 bravada: wont start, kickback and motor ran backwards once, problem arises mostly on wet days and sometimes the motor dies while in operation ( highway driving or at traffic lights, problem is currently very random, as I stated mostly on wet days. I've replaced all of the ignition parts, checked fuel supply operation, spark is present during occurance and plugs are wet with fuel. I can let the car sit for a day or until weather is dry and car will start and run fine. This has been going on for over a year now, I'm waiting for the thing to just quit alltogether so I can find the problem but it just continues the same patterns. Diagnostics (scans)are of no help either. I have considered just parting the car out. I've built some screaming motors and scorching HEI's, this problem has me hang'in upsidedown by the sack!
