I have a 2003 Bravada and just finished doing struts, shocks, brakes, all the way around, recharged air conditioning, due to having to replace water pump and having to tear the cooling system completely out, rotated tires and an oil change. All of this is my first time experience. Once all fluids topped up and the tires hit the ground I started the vehicle and began to increase rpms ( in PARK ) and was only able to achieve 2800 rpms. Note: Air conditioner + fan was OFF and I did take it for a spin around the block for the brakes at which time had full rpms. Anyone have any ideas to why???

Some vehicles have an RPM limit in park to protect the engine. The computer will either reduce fuel flow or cut off spark to prevent the limit from being exceeded. Since it ran fine in drive, I don't think you have a problem.
