Hey everyone! Im new to the board. I have a 2000 bravada with about 115k miles.

My Cat went out, and the shops prices are killing me. $500 just for the OE part. I got it myself from Napa for $230. So I am going to do it myself. I already cut the old cat out and ran a straight pipe through it but im tired of how loud it is and the check engine light always stays on. Not to mention using flex pipe so I know there are leaks.

Anyways, looking for any advice or cautions you guys might have when I do this. I plan to change the o2 sensors and all gaskets as well.

Do I need gaskets for the pipe to the headers and muffler?

My checklist has gaskets, OE pipe, and o2 sensors. Am I missing anything?

Thanks!

Aaron
