Question Narrowing the front track width

I am looking at using the frame/suspension and running gear of an AWD Bravada to put under the body of a different vehicle. My hiccup comes into play with the front track width. My first plan was going to use the 2 door Blazer as it has the same track width of 54" and shared the same wheelbase. But I want to go different and go AWD. But the Bravada's track with is 57 up front. I know the Bravada has a longer wheelbase but that's an easier fix. The original track width of the vehicle is 54". Where does the extra track width come from on the Bravada compared to the Blazer, and how can I get it down to 54"?
