You guys are funny.... 15K... go find a 58,000 mile, 4-speed convertible with all options for 15K, with a W-31 motor. Oh and by the way, the car has never been on ebay, where are you computer guys getting this stuff....

If any one knows where there are SHOW QUALITY, ORIGINAL 70 Cutlass Convertibles with a 4-speed for 15K let me know, we'll buy all of them as would most people.

But let me guess, you have to ask your wife first... LOL

w-31 motor,my ass

scumbag car dealers like you crack me up

this car was on craiglist but the listing got flagged

no surprise there

EliteMuscleCars Nov 21, 2009 09:48 PM

It's an authentic W-31 motor. All the casting numbers on the motor are genuine.

Cars get flagged on craigslist, because of computer geeks, who will never own or even come close to own any car of this caliber, let alone get a date.

Jealously is the weakest emotion and strangely enough the hardest to overcome. i.e. the "scumbag" comment, look at our cars.

Do we have ANY suspect cars, I guess ESPN didn't think so.

I am only wasting my time with you, because you decided to voice your concerns, in a crude manner, which takes all the guesswork of your intelligence, or lack there of.

Find another one like it, in the same ORIGINAL condition, at any price for that matter.

We've never had ONE car come back in our entire inventory, with our 30-day warranty because we are such "Scumbag Car dealers" LOL.

15K- You really know your cars... LOL

this uneducated statement alone should be a good warning to all that these are scumbag car dealers.

notice they say the casting numbers are what makes a w-31 motor, they have no idea what a w-31 motor is,they just use it to attract attention.

NO 1970 W-31 CONVERTIBLES WERE MADE.

they wont take it to a real Olds board,or put it on ebay because they would be laughed at as frauds.

You have to take the engine apart to find out if it's a W-31. The casting numbers only let you know the size of the engine. Unless they have a build sheet to go with the car they don't have any way of proving it has a W-31 engine. Only thing that make a 350 a W-31 is bigger valves in the heads, flat top pistons, and the bigger cam. I've built stronger engines the W-31 doesn't mean much to me.

what would you find inside the motor that's different?
