Looking for some help with SSII rims. I have a 71 Cutlass Supreme and I am looking for some 15x7 SSII rims. I have found a lot on Ebay but I need to know what the numbers mean stamped on the rims. Will only certain numbers fit my car? I see a lot of people on Ebay asking if they have bolt on center caps or snap on. Do the Cutlass models 1972 and earlier use different numbered wheels then the 73 and later models? If anyone can help it would be much apprieciated.

I'm not sure about this one, I only know that I've gotten lucky with every GM rim having the same bolt pattern that I've tried to put on. I've seen camaro rims on alot of other gm cars.

jkazz,

There is indeed a difference in rims. I'm on the road right now and don't have access to my books. I'll re-answer you onthe weekend.

Do you have disc brakes?
