I'm putting a motor in a 92 cutlass supreme that I got from a junk yard. My dad pulled the motor 4-5 years ago and I'm trying to piece it together. The new motor was a different year than what came out of it and I've had to swap several pieces to make it work. My problem is that I don't have a power wire in my harness for the alternator. I tried tracking it down but can't seem to find where it is or where it was suppose to be. Can anyone tell me where the power wire comes from for the alternator? It kind of looks like from the book that there is suppose to be a wire from the starter to the alternator but I don't seem to find this on mine. The harness I got from the junk yard had been cut off so this made things pretty difficult. Any info is greatly appreciated.
