While driving with the car in over drive, sometimes (usually when I''m going up a hill or accelerating, but not always) the car will downshift what sounds like 2 gears. I''ve tried letting off the gas pedal to get it to shift back up through, but it won''t. It will just stay in that gear. I have to stop the car and drive off again, but it won''t go back into overdrive.. Some times it works normal, sometimes I have this problem. It''s killing my MPG. Anyone know what going on here?

try having your tranny fluid and filter changed, also is it low?
