Hello, I am having the problem of when I connect the battery it sparks and the car gets no power. I have checked multiple times that nothing is on. I have also checked every fuse, the ground, and I cleaned the terminals. Does anyone know what the issue could be? It is a 1969 convertible cutlass.

 

Sparking may be a sign of a short (a bare wire touching something with which should not be in contact. Check your cables, the wires running from the battery to the horn relay and the wires running to the starter..
