beef up a 260 v8?

urchinTracker();</>whattup people? Just registered. i I have a question 4 whoever might know. How much power, if any, can i pull out of a 260 cid California smog engine? I have a stock 79 Cutlass Supreme Brougham thats in nice shape. No rebuilt parts or anything. STOCK!! 73,000 miles. Id like to keep it as stock as i can, but that motor has NO power. If its gotta go, then its gotta go. any info would b appreciated.
