Default Electrical Problem

I have a 1969 Cutlass S Convertible and am having a problem with blowing the 20 Amp fuse that supplies power to the tail lamps, dash lights, parking and side marker lights. The wiring harness and connections do not appear to have been altered. Today I replaced the headlight switch. Did not help. Any ideas on where to start or a probable cause? This circuit does not affect driving the car ( in the daytime ). Turn signals, Flashers, and Brake lights not affected.

Any suggestions?

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? I
experiencing something similar. My 77 Cutlass Supremes taillights and side markers are not working.
