hey, guys. I thought i posted this already but i dont see it, so ill do it again. I bought an '87 cutlas supreme for $200, and it is in great shape. there is about 70,000 miles on it. I am trying to find out how much HP it has, but i cant find it anywhere. If any body knows, please tell me. Also, i was wondering if anybody could tell me what a good crate engine would be for this car.
P.S. I have the 3.8L V6 model.

Forget crate and go Olds 350. It will slip right in. If you want to get real froggy, a 455 will shoehorn in. Either way, you can pick up an Olds engine and get it rebuilt for cheaper than a crate. Make sure you go to an Olds guy...Chevy rebuilders just don't know our engines.

And not meaning to advertise other sites, but try www.oldspower.com . Lots of G-body guys on there that have done that exact swap (both SBO and BBO).
