ok on the 94 supreme when they went to start it (family members car) there was no pressure in the fuel rails and no noise in the tank so i suspected the fuel pump and after voltmetering the fuses and checking everything i found out the fuel pump wasent working but was getting power.

so i got a new one and put it in and nothing still. good thing i didnt put the tank up before i tested it.

anyways im getting just under 6volts with a volt meter testing it. is that normal because i always figured 12 volts for all pumps?

and if not why is it getting olny under 6 volts?

its a 94 with a 3100 engine in it and pump in the tank.

under the hood is the fuel pump fuse panel and there is a relay looking thing in there for the pump. is that whats bad or something else?

the kit came with replacement wires which i changed because they looked dirty and used badly.

any help would be great

also learned something else... checked the relay and the fuse panel for proper volts and its getting just under 6 volts with the volt meter and the pump requires 12 volts to run as i learned.

for some reason the car isnt getting 12 volts up front or in the back for the pump... i looked around but dont know where the grounds and all are that i would need to find to check for problems, might be the brain box as i figured also.

not to mention i checked the igintion wires and all the wires in the steering column for proper volts and they are all getting proper readings..

i need a hanes manual or something with wiring diagram for the car.
