I need the name of this part on my Cutlass!!! PLEASE HELP!
 
I am replacing the carburetor on my 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 3.8 V6. When I removed it there was a piece laying under it that I also need to replace but do not know The name of the piece! Its an EFE grid. Early Fuel Evaporation Its a heater that helps fuel evaporation when cold.

Your EFE grid melts because the EFE relay contacts get stuck and over heat the grid. When I worked in a dealership we always replaced the relay and grid together. Relay is on cowl behind right side shock tower just below electronic spark control module.

The GM Parts (Buick) Catalog calls this part "HEATER, carb to manifold (1985-86) Gp. 3.726, Pt. 25526373". This is for a 231 powered Regal but it should be the same.
