After about six years of rotting at the base of my driveway my sister's 1986 cutlass supreme has moved under it's own power!!! With that being said now I need to get a new carb a latching mechinism for the driver door and figure out what's causing the loud pinging when the wheel is being turned

 

I have the same problem at the moment with my Cutlass. It appears to be the power steering pump. It works just fine but makes that screeching noise when I turn the wheel. I've greased it up a bit and it seemed to help some but I'm thinking because it's been sitting soo long that it might need some cleaning.

Either that or I'm just going to change the whole thing.
