Does only the 442''s have the pointed hood/grill like that? i have yet to find a body that not a 442 with it. any info on change in body on the cars or pics of them from 1968-1970 would also be a great help . lemme know what you think.

THANK YOU
<! / message ><! sig >

I might be wrong, but:
I think the rear end (bumper) will fit on anymodel from 68 to 72 but the front end only fits either 68-69 and 70-72.
I have a 71 Cutlass S and the parts from a 70 fit to 72 so I can use those bits.
You will find that some of those 442''s are clones as they seem more collectable.
The biggest Olds sellers were always the S models though!

Yea the 442 are looking expensive but as long as i can get the look i dont care i can always make it into a clone. But what a good place to look for a older cutlass? What ya think a decent one will run me?Edited by: redbullz

I was lucky, got mine off a friend.
Trouble is prices are different here in the UK.
He got his for around £8,000 (around $12K) 3 years ago. I paid him £5K last year cos prices had dropped.
These older muscle cars are still priced high but I have seen a few stateside on ebay going for around $5-6k) and seem to be in good condition.
I still think ebay is the best option.
