hey there guys i gotta few questions for you and any help will be greatly appreciated...


1. the car will turn over but will not start..i was told it could be the timing and then another person told me it was my altenator...what can i do to solve my problem? is it worth fixing this engine or buying a newer engine?


2. can i fit a 3.8L out of a 93 bonneville under the hood of my 92 cutlass supreme?

You don't need an alternator to start or drive a car.

Gee, Nate...thanks for your input...


Now let's really get to the business at hand here.


1. Pump it, crank it, and pull a plug. Do you see/smell fuel?


2. Do you even have spark at the plugs? All of them?


Check thoseand let me know what you find.


FWIW, swapping those motors with wiring, computers and all will be far above theskill level required to fix your Olds.
