PA: Questions about Trim Codes for 71 convertible
Hello all
After regretting selling my first 71 convertible for the last 15 years. Then the last 3 years finding it and not being able to repurchase it because the current owner doesn't seem to know what he wants to do.
I have finally purchased another 71 convertible which looks almost exactly the same as my first car.
Here is the info:
VIN 342671m229123
ST71 34267LAN4711828 BDY
TR 972 43 A PNT
07C
INFORMATION
I understand the car was built in lansing, MI on the 3rd week in july. I think the codes are telling me light green with light green interior and white top. Can anyone tell me anymore about the car? It is currently dark green (which I like), it has an antena in the wishshield and a cruise controll switch.. buckets with a shifter on the floor. The hood has the louvers but I am not sure if it is stock. I was told those type of hoods only came on the Cutlass S. The car also has dual exhaust but no trumpet cut out bumper, just the regular rear bumper.
CONVERTIBLE TOP
When I raise the top, the right side seems to start first then the left catches up as it raises. Anyone know why this happens or the solution?
Thanks for your help
Raymond
