Swap madness

Hi I''m new to the forum and I have a question for anyone experienced in engine swaps.....now bare with me because I''m not sure of the years of the vehicles, one reason is because one is already a race car....but anywho on to the question at hand....
I have a 80''s model Olds Cutlass, which is a race car, which has not tranny, no engine, no drive shaft etc.....
I also have a chevy caprice (not sure of the year) with a 305, a supposed 700R4 tranny, driveshaft and everything I need for the race car........
So my question is....with this swap go pretty painless? I mean as far as for engine mounts, transmission mounts, driveshaft length.....etc....
Any help on this question would be really appreciated!!!

Will not be painless, unless the most engine recently torn out was a
Chevvy, and all the fitting & mounting issues were already solved.
If the car was all Olds, you''d be far better off dropping another Olds
in it.
