Default transmission question

i'm sure this question has been asked befor but here we go anyway i have a 1969 442 with a 455 rocket and it currentlyy has an m20 tranny my issue is that it revs at 4500 rpms at 70 mph in 4th gear on the highway is there an overdrive kit or a 5speed that will handle the torque and get my rpm's down or can i switch out the rear end gears
thanks in advance

Nothing cheap or simple. I think any of the 5sp transmissions would be junk in 5 feet so a 6sp would be in order. And I think you would be looking at one from a Viper most likely due to the crazy amounts of torque that those produce stock.
