Hi folks. Have a 1950 Olds 88 with a 394 engine. This is your Grandpa's Oldsmobile. It needs some better brakes. The drum brakes work as they should, which means if you have to make an emergency stop you should plan the emergency well before you plan to stop. Therefore, I would like to convert to front disc. It currently has power drum brakes. I have checked the PSI at the wheel and it is not enough, therefore I will have to change the booster and Master as well. Wondering if anyone out there has any experience doing one like this? I have done my 68 Mustang conversion, and understand brakes, just wondering what I will be getting into on this one.
